Como parte de este equipo, Joana ayudar\u00e1 a desarrollar el Plan Integrado de VIH 2022-2026, un plan para acabar con el VIH en Arizona. Joana se gradu\u00f3 de la Universidad de Carolina del Norte, Greensboro, en mayo de 2021, con una licenciatura en trabajo social. Antes de graduarse, se involucr\u00f3 mucho en la ciudad de Greensboro, apoyando a las personas del centro de la ciudad que manejaban las dificultades causadas por la pandemia de COVID-19. Durante la pandemia de COVID-19, Joana se dedic\u00f3 a participar en la gesti\u00f3n de casos para familias que no hablan ingl\u00e9s, ser voluntaria en cl\u00ednicas de vacunaci\u00f3n contra COVID-19 y trabajar como gerente en un refugio local para hombres sin hogar. Al ver todas las disparidades en su ciudad, Joana sinti\u00f3 que era necesario avanzar en su carrera en salud p\u00fablica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Macy <\/strong>tambi\u00e9n es un Asociado de Salud P\u00fablica de CDC 2021, asignado al Departamento de Servicios de Salud de Arizona (ADHS). Macy se desempe\u00f1a como especialista en proyectos de VIH y se enfoca en desarrollar e implementar proyectos especiales de VIH. Macy se gradu\u00f3 de la Universidad de Indiana-Bloomington en 2020 con una Licenciatura en Ciencias en Biolog\u00eda con especializaci\u00f3n en enfermedades, un Certificado en Estudios Africanos y una especializaci\u00f3n en Estudios Internacionales y Swahili. Antes de unirse al equipo de ADHS, ayud\u00f3 en la respuesta al COVID-19 del Departamento de Salud de Indiana a trav\u00e9s del rastreo de contactos y la programaci\u00f3n de vacunas.
