The secret to living with HIV? It’s no secret at all. Simply visit your doctor regularly and take your medications on time, every time. Do this and you'll significantly reduce your chances of getting sick and the risk of transmitting HIV to others.

We know that life can get in the way of staying in care. It could be anything from your job to relationship demands to substance use challenges; just know you’re not alone with struggles.

Talk before you walk.

When an issue comes up, talk to a friend or family member. Don’t hesitate to discuss it with your case manager or medical provider. Be open and honest. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. It's your responsibility to remain in care – but you don't have to do it alone.
