Back in February, we announced that the ADHS Ryan White Part B Program was selected to participate in NASTAD’s Trauma-Informed Approaches Learning Community for Ryan White HIV/AIDS Part Bs/ADAPs. Participating representatives for Arizona included Macy Richardson, Rose Wall, Carmen Batista and Yanitza Soto. Representatives participated in learning sessions monthly until June and were tasked with piloting one small trauma-informed activity. Following the end of this learning community, we wanted to share some of the great information we learned regarding trauma informed and healing centered approaches.
